We hope everyone had a great summer! To our returning families welcome back. To our new families, we look forward to getting to know you throughout the year.
Good news, we are moving to Direct Deposit October 1st, 2017 (optional)
Starting in October, we will be offering the option to make payments by authorized direct withdrawals.
If you would like to enroll for automatic payments, please complete the attached Pre-Authorized Debit Agreement and submit it with your September payment along with a void cheque by Tuesday September 19, 2017.
Withdrawals will be processed on the first business day of the month. If you cannot commit to that time frame, please submit post dated cheques to the end of December. Thank you for your patience as we implement this new system.
Fees for September to December 2017
- JK/SK – $640.00
- School age without lunch – $350.00
- School age with hot lunch – $460.00
Cheques should be made payable to Howard Park Children’s Centre. If you have more than one child, please submit one cheque.
Reminders
The Centre has an answering machine available 24 hours a day. Please continue to contact the Centre should your child be absent or should someone other than yourself be picking up your child(ren). You may also email the centre hpcc@interlog.com
If any of your information has changed (e.g. work numbers, cell numbers, etc.), please let Donalee know as soon as possible.
We will be taking your child outside everyday (except in extreme weather conditions). Please ensure that your child comes prepared to be outside (e.g. hats, sunscreen, etc.). Running shoes must be worn on the playground. (Please, no crocks, flip flops or open toe sandals.)
During our morning program (weather permitting), school-age children will be heading to the big playground at approximately 8:15 a.m. daily; otherwise we will meet in common area 1 on the 3rd floor (west side of the building).
If your school age child participates in our hot lunch program we would appreciate knowing when he/she will not be attending (i.e. for piano, choir, chess, sports, etc.). Children are welcome to bring their own sealed containers and cutlery, as we are happy to serve them lunch to go. (Cross Country running is starting soon!)
Activity participation forms are available from your School Age Teachers if your child is participating in after school activities (e.g. cross country, baseball, HP League etc.).
When your child is on a class trip or at a sporting event over the lunch hour, they may be required to bring their own lunch from home, please advise the centre should your child not be in attendance for lunch. All school age children participating in Sub Days or Pizza Days will eat in the gym. Please let us know if your child is participating in the Sub Days or Pizza Fridays.
